Phuket beaches, Thailand

Each and surfing, jungle, ancient temples, tastes and new flavors, landscapes of unimaginable beauty, extraordinary hospitality of the people, particularly low prices, incredible mixture of sounds, images and scents of the fascinating cultural mosaic of Thailand.
Phuket Island is home to many beaches, some are extremely beautiful, some not so much. The vast majority of the beautiful Phuket beaches fall along the western coast of the island, but they are not limited to there. There are a few beaches of note located on the south of the island that may very well be some of the top Phuket beaches.
It is only natural to get caught up in the beauty of the beaches on the Island of Phuket, but even though you are on holiday, don’t forget the dangers of Phuket beaches.
Phuket has a great variety of beaches. The Phuket shopping scene is another reason the island is such a great vacation destination. Of course no one wants to spend their whole beach vacation shopping, but it is nice to know there are plenty of things to do when you’re not in the water.

Beautiful beaches in Phuket:

Patong Beach
One of the most popular beaches on the island. Expect large crowds and nice waves. The beach backs up to vendors and restauranteurs.

Kata Beach
Another extremely popular beach off a quiet road. Caters more to families and Club Med backs up behind almost all of it.

Karon Beach
Karon, featuring an incredibly long stretch of squeaky white sand, is less hectic than Patong but it still offers a full range of facilities, dining and activities. While it’s a fast-growing area, Karon is nicely spread out and rarely feels crowded.

Kata Noi Beach
This small bay of stunning white sand, separated from Kata by a headland, is a quiet and peaceful retreat.
